CURRICULUM CONTENT - SWEDEN
According to the voluntary agreement between the five older
universities the five year academic training is divided into
eleven or twelve main courses (Table 1) but the time and
resources given to each course may vary between universities
within given limits. Specifics are given in the report "The
Training of Psychologists in Sweden An overview and a

The situation is somewhat different at Linköping
University where the programme was started as late as in 1995
and rests on a Problem Based Learning model. The twelve courses
are replaced by a system where the programme is divided into an
introduction period and five blocks, which gives the following
picture (Table 2):
